Which courses should I choose?
KBTU trains specialists in the academic credit system. Based on this system, students will be able to choose elective courses themselves.
How many credits do I need to graduate?
The total number of credits for a bachelor's degree is 240 ECTS.
In which countries can I study for academic mobility?
Depending on the faculty, mobility is possible with countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, China, Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland.
What are the deadlines for applying for academic mobility?
Each year, the preliminary dates are as follows: from the beginning to the end of October, applications are accepted for the next spring semester, from mid-February to mid-March, applications are accepted for the autumn semester of the next academic year.

What are the requirements/documents required for academic mobility training?
At the time of submitting the documents, a bachelor's student must complete two full semesters at KBTU, a master's student must complete one full semester. Have an average score of at least 2.5 and a level of English language proficiency of at least B2 (from the basic faculty) / IELTS 5.5.
How do I get an ONAY card?
You can apply for an ONAY card via your corporate email address by sending a request to the Dean's Office. The card issue may take a month.
Do I have to pay the cost of studying at a foreign partner university?
No. Only tuition at KBTU is paid if the student studies on a fee-based basis, and if the student studies on a grant, he continues to receive a scholarship.
Will I have a difference in items upon my return?
With the approval of the dean of the faculty, an individual curriculum is drawn up for the period of academic mobility, which should not allow differences in subjects.
Are there any grants/scholarships for academic mobility?
Grants from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for visa, insurance, flight and accommodation, as well as Erasmus+ scholarships are possible from some European universities and Mevlana scholarships from some Turkish universities.
Tuition is paid in accordance with the procedure and terms established by the concluded contracts for the provision of educational services. Tuition fees can be paid at a time for the entire academic year or in several payments (September, December and April).
Yes, you have the opportunity to apply for a dorm room, but applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so there is no guarantee of a positive result. First-year students should contact the Department of Internationalization and Strategic Development to apply for a dorm room. Students who already have access to the portal can apply for a dorm room through the portal.
